Assistant Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Blenheim Skechers store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help oversee daily operations, coach the team and contribute to achieving sales targets in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in running day‑to‑day store operations and meeting KPIs.
• Inspire and guide staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Support visual merchandising, stock management and overall store presentation.
• Help control wage costs and create effective rosters.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster their development.
• Maintain a safe, compliant and welcoming store environment.

Required profile

• Motivated emerging retail leader who thrives in a busy environment.
• Experience in a senior sales‑assistant, key‑holder, supervisor, 3IC or similar role.
• Proactive attitude with a strong desire to grow leadership skills.
• Passion for team development and delivering great customer experiences.
• Ability to drive sales and meet performance targets.
• Familiarity with stock management, visual merchandising and retail operations.
