Assistant Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and organised Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team on a permanent part‑time basis. Working 20‑25 hours per week, you will manage TBI Health’s treasury function and leasing platforms while supporting a range of accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Nomos One lease management platform and all related obligations.
• Support treasury and cash‑flow management activities.
• Administer TBI Health’s property portfolio and vehicle fleet.
• Prepare reconciliations, journals and accounts to trial‑balance stage.
• Assist with the annual financial audit process.
• Build and maintain relationships with Southern Cross Healthcare Procurement and other key stakeholders.
• Provide cover and support across the wider Finance Team as required.
• Contribute to finance projects, process improvements and ad‑hoc initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

• Experience with the Nomos One lease management platform.
