Architectural Designer

About the role

The Architectural Designer will own design packages from concept through to detailed documentation, working closely with senior staff and external consultants. This hands‑on position is focused on delivering high‑performing residential projects across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to developed design.
• Create innovative architectural solutions that meet client briefs.
• Prepare building consent documentation and respond to council RFIs.
• Coordinate structural and services consultants, integrating changes.
• Support project delivery through design development, documentation and construction queries.

Required profile

• Proven New Zealand experience on residential or multi‑residential projects.
• Strong Revit capability.
• LBP2 proficiency is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of the NZ Building Code and consent processes.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• High attention to detail and pride in documentation quality.
