Applied Research Mathematician

About the role

The Applied Research Mathematician will lead the design and implementation of rigorous mathematical methods to solve complex problems across multiple domains. This position focuses on delivering precise, economical, and logically sound solutions that drive innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and execute research projects involving analytic solutions.
• Create, test, and refine mathematical models, algorithms, and techniques.
• Evaluate the performance and accuracy of developed methods.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate mathematical solutions into broader applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science with at least 11 years of relevant experience, or equivalent higher‑level degree with fewer years as specified.
• Demonstrated ability to apply advanced mathematics (minimum 24 credit hours) to real‑world problems.
• Strong analytical reasoning and attention to logical rigor.
