Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join Halter’s Planning and Intelligence team. You will own the semantic layer that transforms raw data into trusted, analytics‑ready datasets used across AI agents, dashboards and reports.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain dbt models that serve as the single source of truth for GTM analytics.
• Develop and manage the metrics layer, ensuring consistent definitions across dashboards, ad‑hoc queries and AI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document and version metric definitions.
• Partner with Data Engineering to shape upstream pipelines and with Data Scientists and Tableau analysts for downstream consumption.
• Provide high‑quality documentation and support internal customers in accessing reliable data.

Required profile

• Product‑mindset with a focus on treating datasets as a product for internal users.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dbt for data modeling.
• Strong SQL querying experience.
• Experience with Tableau for data visualization.
