Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Night Shift at Christchurch Airport

About the role

Join Jetstar’s engineering team on a full‑time permanent night‑shift at Christchurch Airport. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer you will deliver high‑quality maintenance and rectification services on a modern fleet while upholding strict WHS and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line‑maintenance tasks on A320, B787 and B737 aircraft, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee quality control of aircraft before release, confirming compliance with Jetstar’s Safety Management System.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to regulatory and training requirements.
• Collaborate with specialist teams, contractors and external service providers.
• Provide flexible support to other ports, including international locations, as required.

Required profile

• Level 4 Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering or Certificate IV in Aeroskills (AU/NZ equivalent).
• Line‑maintenance experience on A320/1, B787 and B737 aircraft.
• Strong time‑management and ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to obtain an Airside Driver’s Licence.
