AI Academy Manager

About the role

The AI Academy Manager will translate Beca’s AI strategy into an enterprise‑wide learning programme. Reporting to the Team Lead for Tech Insights and Adoption and working closely with senior innovation leaders, you will design, launch and continuously improve a structured AI Academy that up‑skills staff across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi‑tier AI curriculum covering foundational literacy to advanced practitioner and leadership pathways.
• Set up governance, delivery models and metrics to track participation, capability uplift and business impact.
• Build and lead a small team responsible for curriculum design, delivery and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Business Group Directors, the AI Centre of Excellence, Digital Enablement Leaders, L&D and subject‑matter experts to embed AI learning into existing programmes.
• Commission, curate and co‑develop learning assets across multiple modalities, including practical tool‑based experiences.
• Manage relationships with external consultants, training providers and vendors to ensure a consistent learner experience.
• Report progress, risks and opportunities to senior leaders and champion an AI‑first mindset across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading enterprise‑wide capability or learning programmes at scale.
• Strong AI literacy sufficient to engage with technical specialists and translate strategy into curricula.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles and experience designing structured learning frameworks.
• Track record of stakeholder co‑design and governance within large, complex organisations.
