About the role
Davin Industries, a leader in precision sheet‑metal fabrication, is seeking an Afternoon Shift Supervisor for its folding team in Christchurch. You will oversee a small group of machine operators, ensuring smooth production of high‑quality sheet‑metal components during the afternoon shift.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise a machine operation team on the afternoon shift.
- Operate brake‑press folding and CNC machines when required.
- Coordinate work orders and prioritize tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Required profile
- Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Team‑player attitude.
Required skills
- Brake press folding operation.
- CNC machine operation.
- Experience with turret punching or laser cutting (desirable).
