Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

Join KPMG’s finance team as an Accounts Receivable Officer, where you will play a central part in managing receivables and supporting both internal and external stakeholders. Your work will help keep financial processes accurate, efficient, and customer‑focused.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and some accounts payable, resolve discrepancies and address outstanding balances.
• Prepare and process payment files and cash receipts.
• Prepare and review invoices, staff expense claims and other financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from creditors, debtors and internal teams regarding billing, payments and account information.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure financial information is accurate.
• Assist with procurement activities as required and recommend process improvements.
• Provide backup support for other members of the accounts team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of administration or accounts receivable/accounting experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Strong numeric and organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
• Professional, team‑oriented, patient and friendly demeanor.
