Accountant – Shared Services

About the role

Scania is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Shared Services team. You will manage core accounting activities, prepare financial reports and provide insights that support business decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and support month‑end closing.
• Assist with statutory accounts preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage tax payments, enquiries and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Produce management reports, conduct financial analysis and respond to internal stakeholder queries.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Results‑driven with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in accounting or reporting within a corporate environment (preferred).
