Accountant – Finance Reporting & Budgeting

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant to join our close‑knit team in Whenuapai. You will own a broad finance function, delivering accurate reporting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and forecasting while supporting senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports on a regular basis.
• Develop, monitor and update annual budgets.
• Manage cash‑flow, ensuring liquidity and timely payments.
• Produce financial forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Provide financial insights and support to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in management accounting or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
