Account Manager – Personal & Home Care

About the role

Caldic is looking for a commercially‑driven Account Manager to grow its Personal & Home Care (PHC) business in New Zealand. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, using market knowledge and technical expertise to build lasting partnerships and deliver innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Win new business and expand sales with existing and new PHC customers.
• Develop and execute sales plans that drive country‑wide results, gross margin, and pipeline growth.
• Identify target accounts, prepare and conduct sales calls, create proposals, and close deals.
• Maintain long‑term customer relationships and achieve sales, profitability, and KPI targets.
• Manage sales forecasting, debtor days, and working‑capital goals.
• Stay informed on Caldic’s strategy and translate it into local account plans.
• Leverage internal resources and CRM tools to plan calls, manage contacts, and track opportunities.

Required profile

• Ambitious, proactive hunter with a strong commercial mindset.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of the Personal & Home Care market and customer needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with senior stakeholders.
• Results‑oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM platform for account planning and pipeline management.
