Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager you will develop and implement media plans that meet client briefs and marketing objectives, purchase media space at competitive rates, and analyse campaign performance. You will also maintain day‑to‑day client relationships and contribute to agency initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement media plans aligned with client objectives.
• Negotiate and purchase media space across multiple channels.
• Conduct post‑campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness.
• Maintain and grow day‑to‑day client relationships.
• Participate actively in agency initiatives and shared client accounts.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years experience in media planning or buying within the New Zealand market.
• Strong understanding of media terminology, planning and trading processes, and supply/demand dynamics.
• Ability to negotiate win‑win outcomes and present confidently to internal teams and clients.
• Proven analytical mindset and ability to question data when needed.
• Effective multitasking and prioritisation to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using Pegasus, Arianna and TV Map tools.
