Account Manager – Auckland

About the role

Milsons, a fourth‑generation family business specialising in high‑quality fastenings and engineering supplies, is looking for a dedicated Account Manager for its Auckland branch. You will be responsible for business development and account management across construction, manufacturing, civil and reseller channels, promoting an expanded product range.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development and nurture existing accounts in the construction, manufacturing, civil and retail sectors.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and wider team to build and execute sales plans.
• Own the full customer lifecycle, from first contact to long‑term growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and track sales metrics against reporting requirements.
• Analyse sales performance, identify new customer segments and seize growth opportunities.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and gather feedback to improve service delivery.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of proven B2B sales experience, with a track record of winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to read data to spot opportunities.
• Formal sales training or a demonstrated sales mindset is highly regarded.
• Team‑player who thrives in a small, close‑knit environment.

• Comfortable working with ERP systems.
