Account Executive

About the role

Orangebox is looking for a proactive Account Executive to join its Wellington‑based Client Services team. In this role you will act as the bridge between Account Managers, technical services and production, turning client requirements into clear production steps and ensuring campaigns run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Account Managers and the Head of Client Services with daily and weekly campaigns.
• Produce accurate quotes and convert approved estimates into detailed job bags.
• Maintain real‑time updates in internal tracking systems and manage Work‑in‑Progress data.
• Verify job bags against client briefs, inspect client samples, and monitor active jobs on the production floor.
• Handle weekly client billing, daily reporting and provide professional customer service.
• Collaborate with data programmers, production operators and digital/automation teams.

Required profile

• Background in administration, account support or production coordination (print, mailhouse, logistics or agency).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors early.
• Comfortable managing weekly billing, data entry, spreadsheets and workflow tools.
• Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with variable data, direct‑mail handling and postal sorting is a plus.
• Basic understanding of digital print processes and production timelines is advantageous.
