Telecare Field Representative

About the role

Join New Zealand's leading medical alarm provider and help seniors, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable community members stay independent. As a Telecare Field Representative you will build trusting relationships, demonstrate and install monitored alarm systems, and ensure customers feel confident using the equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with customers who rely on medical alarms.
• Demonstrate and install monitored alarm systems, providing clear usage instructions.
• Convert interest into secured sales.
• Provide ongoing customer care, including servicing and troubleshooting equipment.
• Promote services at community events and group demonstrations.
• Respond promptly to emergency alerts and coordinate appropriate assistance.
• Work 32 hours per week on a permanent part‑time basis and be on call every fifth weekend with allowances.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Strong empathy and personal resilience.
• Sales experience is advantageous.
• Good technical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Full New Zealand driver licence with confidence driving in the Northland region.
