About the role

Join Oranga Tamariki's Residences business group as a Talent Advisor. You will lead high‑volume sourcing and end‑to‑end recruitment for roles that support the wellbeing of children and young people. The role combines strategic partnership with hiring managers and a strong focus on candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to design bespoke recruitment strategies for high‑volume roles.
• Manage job postings and advertisements to maximise visibility and engagement.
• Proactively source and engage candidates through job boards, social media and talent pools.
• Conduct end‑to‑end recruitment, from screening to offer, ensuring a positive candidate journey.
• Provide guidance on best‑practice selection and interview processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering fast‑paced end‑to‑end recruitment across a variety of roles.
• New Zealand in‑house or recruitment agency experience.
• Strong customer focus and ability to meet expectations quickly.
• Collaborative style with understanding of complex government contexts.
• Excellent prioritisation, verbal and written communication skills.
