Service Technician

About the role

Think Water Marlborough is seeking a Service Technician to join its busy team delivering irrigation and water system solutions across the region. You will work on a variety of projects, from troubleshooting existing installations to installing new pump and irrigation systems for residential and commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain irrigation and pump systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on‑site.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Travel to customer sites as required, occasionally working away from the base.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven practical trade background with a focus on pumping, automation, or irrigation.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or on‑call duties.
