Senior Procurement Specialist – IT & Excellence

About the role

Spark is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead the IT & Excellence category. You will work at the intersection of technology, customers and commercial outcomes, shaping how Spark sources and manages critical IT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Lead end‑to‑end category procurement engagements, from sourcing strategy to contract negotiation and lifecycle management.
• Negotiate and manage complex IT contracts covering software, SaaS, hardware and managed services.
• Support sales and client teams with supplier solutions for enterprise and government bids.
• Drive improvements in procurement frameworks, processes and capability across the business.
• Manage a high‑volume project environment with structure and confidence.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in procurement or category management, preferably in IT.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and deep understanding of software, SaaS and technology contracts.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver sourcing and category strategies.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and suppliers in fast‑moving, Agile environments.
• MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience is ideal.
