Senior Medical Recruiter – Permanent Recruitment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end permanent recruitment for specialist medical positions across New Zealand. The role is remote‑first, with optional use of a modern office in Takapuna, and focuses heavily on the public health sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for senior and specialist medical roles, from sourcing to placement.
• Leverage established client relationships and market reputation to attract top talent.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the recruitment system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align recruitment strategies with business goals.
• Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a medical recruitment agency or in‑house recruitment function.
• Specific experience recruiting within New Zealand’s public health environment is highly desirable.
• Strong track record of permanent placement for specialist medical roles.
• Self‑motivated, well‑organised and comfortable working autonomously.
