Senior Manager – Open Banking

About the role

As a Product Manager, Open Banking, you’ll play an important role in shaping how ANZ delivers Open Banking services to customers through third‑party providers. You’ll work across technology, design, risk and external partners to develop and enhance Open Banking products and capabilities while supporting regulatory requirements and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers at the heart of decisions, ensuring they are protected as they navigate Open Banking services and interactions with third‑party providers.
• Take ownership of a product with a difference, balancing customer outcomes with the regulatory obligations the bank must meet.
• Navigate an evolving regulatory landscape, contributing to broader conversations and responding to changes as Open Banking continues to develop.
• Bring people together to manage risk and drive improvement, working across the bank, with partners and industry stakeholders to strengthen products, processes and customer experience.

Required profile

• Experience across product, channel or relationship management with a strong focus on delivering positive customer outcomes.
• A customer‑first mindset and the ability to understand and advocate for customer needs.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, building trusted relationships across internal teams, external partners and industry stakeholders.
• Sound risk awareness and judgement, navigating risk, regulatory requirements, dependencies and competing priorities.
• Strategic and curious thinking with strong problem‑solving, planning and prioritisation skills.
• A growth mindset and adaptability, embracing change and continuous learning in a fast‑evolving environment.
• Confidence using Excel to organise, analyse and interpret information for decision‑making.
