Senior Manager, MedTech Surgery – Australia/New Zealand

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Regional Head of Technology – Senior Manager for MedTech Surgery across Australia and New Zealand. This senior leader will act as the bridge between business strategy and technology execution, shaping growth, modernising platforms and delivering differentiated digital and AI capabilities for surgeons, patients and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create and own the regional technology strategy for Surgery, aligned with MedTech business goals.
• Translate strategy into a multi‑year product and platform roadmap with clear value outcomes.
• Lead a business‑facing technology organisation, orchestrating JJT products, platforms and services to maximise speed, quality and value.
• Engage senior business leaders (e.g., Company Group Chair, Regional Leadership Teams) to define priorities and deliver outcomes.
• Drive development of digital surgery/robotics platforms, OR integration, imaging, computer‑vision and AI capabilities.
• Oversee field‑service digitisation, supply‑continuity solutions and instrument‑lifecycle analytics.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technology strategist and product‑focused leader in a MedTech or healthcare environment.
• Strong track record of leading technology organisations and delivering complex digital solutions.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business objectives into actionable technology plans.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams across multiple geographies.
