Senior Advisory Accountant – Project Work

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Advisory Accountant to join our close‑knit team in New Zealand. You will own a portfolio of clients, prepare financial accounts in line with IFRS and IPSAS, and shape your workflow around what matters most to you.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements according to IFRS and IPSAS standards.
• Manage your own portfolio of clients, building trusted relationships.
• Take ownership of workflow, deadlines and project deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with directors and senior team members for technical support.
• Contribute to project work that adds value to client organisations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to take ownership of work while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Current experience with IFRS and/or IPSAS reporting frameworks.
• Curiosity and passion for technical standards and detailed analysis.
• Background in commercial finance reporting, either in New Zealand or overseas.
• Pride in delivering high‑quality, efficient work.
• Strong time‑management and workload planning skills.
• Commitment to delivering the best outcomes for clients.
