Prototyping Engineer – AWS Prototyping & Cloud Engineering

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Prototyping Engineer to join its AWS Australia and New Zealand Prototyping and Cloud Engineering (PACE) team. You will work in an agile, AI‑enabled environment to help customers build rapid MVP experiments and prototype new products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver prototype solutions that address customer strategic visions.
• Build and maintain ground‑breaking capabilities using lean, iterative development practices.
• Ensure operational excellence through a strong DevOps culture.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to champion customer needs and drive rapid development cycles.
• Travel to customer sites across Australia and New Zealand as required.
