Production Test Technician 2

About the role

As a Production Test Technician 2 you will set up, calibrate and troubleshoot circuits, components and mechanical assemblies of advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment. You will develop test specifications and procedures, perform measurements and generate technical reports to ensure products meet design and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate electronic instructions and schematics, install components and test wafer fabrication equipment using hand tools, test equipment and fixtures.
• Conduct visual inspections, verify checklists and perform leak checks using appropriate procedures.
• Measure temperature, pressure, voltage, resistance, continuity and other parameters with test equipment.
• Report and review tool status, access information via SAP commands.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety guidelines, PPE and LOTO procedures.
• Communicate production status, completed tasks and improvement ideas to stakeholders and provide shift pass‑downs.
• Collaborate with team members to sustain workflow and production schedules.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in the semiconductor equipment industry or a comparable manufacturing environment.
• Technical training (associate degree, technical diploma, certificate or equivalent military experience) focused on electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive setting.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency with computer‑based data systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Physical ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift up to 35 lb and handle hand tools and fixtures.
• Capability to identify wires by color, size, thickness and markings.
