Performance & Capability Coach

About the role

The Performance & Capability Coach will work across individuals, teams and leaders to lift performance, strengthen capability and support career growth within a leading New Zealand‑owned wealth manager.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AI‑enabled performance coaching through 1:1 and team sessions, embedding practical use of AI tools.
• Strengthen frontline sales and service capability via targeted coaching, feedback and continuous improvement.
• Develop leadership capability by enhancing communication, coaching and team performance skills, including leading through change and AI adoption.
• Support career and growth development conversations and build future‑ready skills aligned to business needs.
• Identify capability gaps and future skill requirements, contributing to capability frameworks and development planning.
• Design and deliver training to improve communication, influence, collaboration and customer engagement.
• Contribute to learning and capability strategy, aligning initiatives with business priorities and performance outcomes.
• Define success metrics, track capability uplift and provide insights on performance outcomes and development effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in performance improvement, coaching and facilitation within sales or customer‑facing environments.
• Strong background in adult learning design and delivery of leadership development programmes.
• Ability to identify capability gaps and create targeted development solutions.
• Experience partnering with leaders to build high‑performing, accountable teams.
• Comfortable applying AI tools to enhance day‑to‑day performance.
