About the role

Join the Waihi Health Centre team as a Medical Receptionist, working part‑time (24 hours per week) across three days. You will be the first point of contact for patients, blending compassion with strong organisational skills to support smooth clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service to patients and visitors.
• Handle communications via email, telephone and electronic patient portals.
• Manage appointment bookings and schedule adjustments.
• Process invoicing, collect fees and perform debt‑collection activities.
• Carry out a range of administrative tasks to keep the front desk running efficiently.
• Cover leave for team members and assist with occasional minimal weekend duties.
• Maintain accurate records while upholding confidentiality.
