Marketing Executive – H3 Group (12‑month maternity cover)

About the role

The H3 Group within Hamilton City Council is looking for a Marketing Executive to lead brand, communications and event marketing on a 12‑month maternity leave contract. You will work across iconic venues such as the Claudelands Events Centre, FMG Stadium Waikato and Seddon Park, helping to raise the profile of H3 and drive bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns and content for the H3 brand across digital and traditional channels.
• Create clear, consistent messaging and storytelling aligned with H3’s brand values.
• Manage social media, website updates and e‑mail direct‑marketing activities, including database maintenance.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to support enquiries, bookings and revenue generation.
• Analyse performance data and insights to continuously improve marketing outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing, communications and brand management.
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills for diverse audiences and platforms.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercial focus with an orientation toward measurable results.
