Manufacturing Manager – Packing

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager – Packing will lead all packing and downstream operations at the site, ensuring products are packed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will balance day‑to‑day operational leadership with strategic planning to meet production and customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing operational team focused on safety and people development.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across packing operations.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, manage safe work systems, work permits, and preventative maintenance programmes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.
• Utilise ERP and inventory management systems to optimise production flow and plant readiness.

Required profile

• Several years of experience leading a manufacturing plant, preferably in food production.
• Proven expertise in production and operations management with a strong background in packing and finished‑product manufacturing.
• Strategic thinker with excellent operational planning abilities.
