Luge Operator (Part‑time)

About the role

Join Skyline’s guest services team as a Luge Operator, welcoming visitors to the luge experience and ensuring a safe, enjoyable ride. This part‑time, hands‑on role is based outdoors in Rotorua and involves direct interaction with guests throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Greet luge riders with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Provide clear, thorough safety instructions before each ride.
• Assist with the safe operation of chairlifts and luge equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area on the luge track.
• Work rostered shifts, including weekends, school holidays and public holidays.

Required profile

• Patient, enthusiastic and conscientious with a strong health‑and‑safety focus.
• Passion for tourism and delivering excellent guest service.
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and work well under pressure.
• Strong weekend availability and flexibility for weekday shifts.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
