Lead Architect (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Architect to own the overall technology architecture for a leading New Zealand agricultural and machinery business. The role will guide the evolution of the technology landscape, retire legacy systems and champion the adoption of modern solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, review and continuous improvement of solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted architectural advisor, providing technical direction to internal and external teams.
• Conduct regular technology landscape assessments and retire outdated systems.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and maintain strong relationships with strategic vendors.
• Design robust, scalable and sustainable software and integration solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and delivering Microsoft‑based solutions.
• Strong background with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proven experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of modern Microsoft cloud data platforms.
