Full-Time Dental Receptionist or Assistant – Community Dental Practice

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our busy community dental practice in Miramar. The positions are full‑time roles – one as a Dental Receptionist and one as a Dental Assistant/ Sterilisation Assistant – supporting a friendly, close‑knit team dedicated to high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients in person and over the phone with a warm, professional manner.
• Manage appointment bookings, confirmations and respond to patient enquiries via email.
• Process payments, perform daily banking and maintain accurate patient records.
• Clean, sterilise and organise dental instruments and equipment, and monitor sterilisation logs.
• Prepare treatment rooms, assist clinicians during patient transitions and occasionally provide chair‑side support.
• Assist with stock management, clinic organisation and occasional reception duties.

Required profile

• Positive, reliable and team‑focused attitude.
• Previous experience in reception, dental assisting, sterilisation or related healthcare support roles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Confidence using computer systems for administrative tasks.
