About the role
Optimal is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Product Engineer to help build and ship research tools that empower data‑driven decisions. The position is remote‑first, with the option to work from our Wellington headquarters, and offers real ownership over product features.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver new product features that improve user research workflows.
- Integrate AI into the development process to increase efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to understand user problems and shape solutions.
- Own features end‑to‑end, driving them from concept through production while focusing on outcomes.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture by sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates.
