Full Stack Product Engineer – Remote (AU/NZ)

About the role

Optimal is seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Product Engineer to help build and ship research‑tool features that empower data‑driven decisions. You’ll work remotely (or from our Wellington HQ) within a small, collaborative product, engineering, and design team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship product features that improve user research workflows.
• Leverage AI as a core part of the development workflow to increase efficiency.
• Partner closely with product managers and designers to understand user problems and shape solutions.
• Own features end‑to‑end, focusing on outcomes over perfection.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture by sharing knowledge and learning from teammates.
