Customer Service Representative – Whangarei

About the role

Join NZ Post’s vibrant Whangarei depot as a Customer Service Representative, delivering exceptional service to customers at the front counter and over the phone. You will champion NZ Post’s products and services, provide helpful suggestions, and access information to resolve inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer inquiries, requests and concerns in person and via phone.
• Promote and explain NZ Post products and services.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer data.
• Assist with light lifting of items up to 25 kg when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming front‑counter environment.

Required profile

• Available Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with a 1‑hour break.
• Reliable transport to arrive on time.
• Proven experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Comfortable lifting up to 25 kg.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick decision‑making.
• Administrative and data‑entry competence.
• Confidence interacting with people from diverse backgrounds face‑to‑face, by phone and email.
