About the role
Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 62 countries, is hiring a Cost Manager or Senior Cost Manager for a data centre project in Auckland. The role covers cost planning, pricing, reporting and assessment of tenders, variations and payments, using the company's digital offering, the Hive.
Key responsibilities
- Measure all elements for the preparation of the cost plan
- Pricing of individual items from first principles, including market engagement where required
- Prepare cost reports
- Assess tender returns and prepare a tender recommendation report
- Assess contractor variations
- Assess contractor payment claims and prepare a payment recommendation for the Superintendent
- Compile benchmarking and market intelligence data
- Use the digital offering, the Hive, to implement all deliverables
Required profile
- 3+ years of post-graduate experience
- RICS member or on the pathway to membership
- Experience across the project life cycle, including pre-contract, procurement and post-contract activities
Required skills
- Experience in CostX is preferred
