Compliance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Compliance Technician (Appliance Tester) to join our Southland team in Invercargill. The successful candidate will self‑manage their workload, be flexible, reliable and enjoy being part of the awesome EIS team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out test‑and‑tag operations, including inspections of electrical leads and components, following best‑practice guidelines.
• Undertake ongoing training in biomedical testing, thermal imaging, EV charging station compliance, IQP inspection and overall compliance.
• Collaborate with the Southland team to deliver compliance testing.
• Maintain positive relationships with EIS clients and ensure compliance standards are met.

Required profile

• Self‑managed, flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Full clean driver’s licence.
• Willingness to obtain or hold an electrical registration.
• Enjoy being part of the awesome EIS team.
