Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – New Zealand

About the role

Revolut is seeking a tech‑savvy, results‑oriented Chief Financial Officer to support rapid growth in New Zealand. The CFO will partner with the CEO to introduce new features, guide the transition to a banking model, and ensure robust financial control across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee treasury, local balance‑sheet management and cash‑flow planning.
• Provide commercial and operational insights to support expansion.
• Communicate financial performance, risks and strategy to leadership and the advisory board.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting accuracy.
• Manage taxation, regulatory compliance and serve as the primary contact for regulators.
• Conduct risk management, oversee liabilities, investments and decide on investment strategies.
• Control fundraising plans, capital structure and support external audits.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving financial performance.
• Experience in leading finance functions in fast‑growing, technology‑focused companies.
• Strong understanding of banking, treasury and regulatory environments.
• Ability to roll up sleeves and address complex challenges across finance.
