About the role

Join Oceania as a casual Registered Nurse at Gracelands Village, delivering full‑scope nursing care within a nurse‑led aged‑care service. You will support residents, collaborate with allied health professionals, and contribute to a vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily care needs of residents while inspiring and supporting care staff.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions independently and collaboratively.
• Make critical decisions regarding resident care, demonstrating professional autonomy.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and community health professionals.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to care staff and team members.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Previous experience using clinical systems.
• Desirable: experience with InterRai software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time‑management abilities.
• Ability to coach and mentor other staff.
• Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis, including weekends and nights.

Required skills

• InterRai (clinical documentation software).
• Clinical systems for patient records and care planning.
