Care Home & Village Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, people‑first manager to lead the operations of Broadview Lifecare & Village, an 85‑bed care home and hospital with a 27‑unit village in a rural New Zealand setting. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality resident experiences while driving financial performance and supporting staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with an emphasis on quality, safety and resident satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance, P&L and identify growth opportunities.
• Support strategic planning, outcomes and compliance standards.
• Lead, coach and develop multi‑functional teams.
• Represent the Heritage Lifecare brand and build strong community connections.

Required profile

• Hands‑on senior operational or branch management experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong business acumen and a proven track record of leading high‑performing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead with empathy.
• Comfort managing complex staffing, budgeting, planning and customer service issues.
• Understanding of the aged‑care sector in New Zealand and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
