Business Development Representative – Remote (NZ)

About the role

Join Employment Hero as a Business Development Representative working remotely from New Zealand. You will be the front‑line of our outbound sales engine, creating qualified opportunities that feed the sales pipeline and help us transform workforce management for thousands of businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails and lead follow‑ups.
• Identify and qualify key decision‑makers within target organisations.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to hand over high‑potential leads for further development and closure.
• Maintain and enrich a prospect database for the assigned market segment.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and route promising opportunities appropriately.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of proven high‑volume outbound B2B sales experience.
• Strong phone presence with resilience to conduct extensive calling.
• Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Self‑motivated, able to thrive in a remote‑first, asynchronous environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sales LinkedIn Navigator.
• Experience using prospecting tools such as Lusha, ZoomInfo and Outreach.
