About the role
AbbVie is seeking a Brand Manager for New Zealand on a 12‑month max‑term contract. The role will develop and execute annual marketing plans, drive multichannel strategies and grow sales, profit and market share for assigned products.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategically aligned commercial initiatives in AbbVie NZ.
- Lead agile project teams and collaborate with external stakeholders.
- Build strategic relationships with internal and external customers to gather insights.
- Participate in setting marketing objectives, brand strategies and aligned tactics.
- Deliver new customer insights to support brand innovation.
- Work with brand and sales teams to implement omnichannel strategies across traditional and digital channels.
- Coach and model the AbbVie Innovation Framework.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and ethical standards.
- Achieve annual sales and market‑share targets.
- Deliver tailored, data‑driven experiences using real‑time data and advanced analytics.
Required profile
- Proven experience in brand management and marketing within a commercial environment.
- Ability to lead and coordinate agile project teams.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset to translate customer insights into actionable strategies.
- Capability to work cross‑functionally with brand and sales teams.
- Commitment to compliance with legal, ethical and corporate standards.
- Track record of meeting sales and market‑share objectives.
