About the role
As an Accounts Receivable Officer at KPMG, you will sit at the core of the finance function, ensuring that receivable and payable processes run smoothly and accurately. You will support both internal stakeholders and external clients, helping to maintain financial integrity across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and some accounts payable, including supplier and staff accounts.
- Resolve discrepancies and address outstanding balances.
- Prepare and process payment files and cash receipts.
- Prepare and review invoices, staff expense claims and other financial documents for accuracy.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from creditors, debtors and internal stakeholders regarding billing and payments.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure financial information accuracy.
- Manage procurement activities as required and recommend process improvements.
- Provide backup support for other members of the accounts team.
Required profile
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
- Experience with ledger and bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with SAP (preferred).
- Strong numeric, organisational and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
- Professional, team‑oriented attitude with good client relationship management.
