Technical Project Manager

About the role

Join the Information Services Portfolio Management Office (IS PMO) at Gallagher and take ownership of delivering technically complex projects that keep the business moving. Based in Hamilton, you will work on ongoing large‑scale user, device and regional rollouts as well as upcoming infrastructure and systems initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of IS projects, ensuring scope, schedule and budget are met.
• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers and documentation.
• Coordinate activities across infrastructure, platform and application teams.
• Facilitate technical discussions and keep delivery momentum.
• Provide clear, practical communication to keep stakeholders informed.
• Lead governance, reporting and key decision forums.
• Manage vendors and delivery partners to maintain pace and quality.
• Support smooth handover into business‑as‑usual, including change and adoption activities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on Technical Project Manager comfortable in complex environments.
• 5+ years delivering IT/IS projects of varying complexity.
• Experience with infrastructure, migrations and system implementations.
• Strong delivery discipline using structured project frameworks.
• Ability to work confidently with engineers and specialists.
• Clear, pragmatic communication for any audience.
• Solid stakeholder, vendor and budget management skills.
• Calm, organised and outcome‑focused approach.
