About the role
The Māori Land Court is seeking dedicated team members to join its permanent staff in Whanganui. You will support the court’s mission to assist landowners throughout their whenua journey, from initial advice to final registration.
Key responsibilities
- Provide client advisory services and pre‑application guidance.
- Manage court registry, case and land registry processes.
- Deliver judicial support services and ensure accurate processing of applications from start to finish.
- Conduct research and maintain high‑quality records.
- Collaborate with technical experts and contribute to a supportive office environment.
Required profile
- Good general knowledge of tikanga Māori and a commitment to develop Te Reo Māori.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organisational, multitasking and prioritisation skills.
- Customer‑focused attitude with genuine interest in people.
- Exceptional attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Resilient, flexible, calm and able to maintain high standards.
