Senior Project Manager - Digital / Agile Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead digital and Agile projects for our Auckland office. The role combines hands‑on project management with Agile coaching, guiding high‑performing squads to deliver software solutions that create real business value.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach squads and Product Owners on Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and other Agile practices.
• Maintain delivery visibility using Agile metrics and tools.
• Manage day‑to‑day project operations, including schedules, risks, issues and change requests.
• Allocate resources, monitor budgets and profitability, and keep project documentation up to date.
• Review Statements of Work and proposals to ensure alignment with client expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business or a related discipline.
• 3‑7 years of project management experience delivering complex digital software projects.
• Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Agilist with at least 2 years of Agile delivery experience.
• Project management certification such as Prince2 or PMP.
• Proven ability to work with diverse customers, Product Owners and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean).
• Proficiency with Agile tools, especially Jira and Azure DevOps.
