Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join a commercial finance team within a leading retail/FMCG/e‑commerce environment. The role focuses on high‑level reporting, forecasting and partnering with supply‑chain and merchandise teams to optimise working capital and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the weekly and monthly commercial reporting agenda, preparing month‑end result packs and coordinating the forecasting process.
• Provide deep‑dive analysis on net working capital, stock loss and inflation, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to finance and operations, creating standardised reports and driving system enhancements.
• Manage core operational levers to drive profitable growth and simplify complex financial information for a broad audience.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified with at least 3 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or e‑commerce sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical rigor, problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of making complex concepts simple.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with SAP, Business Objects, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Tableau.
