Residential Architect/Designer (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architect or Designer to join our Auckland studio on a six‑month contract, supporting residential projects across Australia. The role involves contributing to design development and documentation for multi‑residential and mixed‑use schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept and detailed designs for residential and mixed‑use projects.
• Prepare construction documentation using Revit.
• Collaborate with principals, project leaders and Australian studios.
• Coordinate with consultants and internal teams throughout project stages.
• Present design solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4–12 years of architectural practice experience.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑residential or mixed‑use residential projects.
• Strong design thinking combined with technical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with Rhino (highly regarded).
