Remote Rust Engineer – AI Data Training Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a remote Rust Engineer to work on AI data training projects. You will review and generate Rust code, evaluate the reasoning behind solutions, and provide detailed feedback that helps improve large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Rust code and explanations, assessing correctness, safety, and adherence to prompts.
• Identify and correct issues related to ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and algorithmic reasoning.
• Write high‑quality, pedagogical explanations and model solutions demonstrating idiomatic Rust patterns.
• Evaluate, rank, and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
• Create detailed prompts and responses to guide AI learning across diverse topics.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases and ensure reliable performance.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of professional Rust development experience in backend, CLI, or systems projects.
• Strong grasp of Rust’s ownership, borrowing, and lifetime model.
• Experience with safe, idiomatic Rust code, including traits, generics, pattern matching, and error handling.
• Proficiency using LLMs or AI coding assistants and a disciplined approach to validating their output.
• Excellent written English (C1 level) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Detail‑oriented work style; prior AI data‑training or code‑review experience is a plus.
