Remote Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk with expertise in commercial real estate and energy projects. The role supports the training of next‑generation AI systems by providing high‑quality, real‑world legal document inputs. Your domain knowledge will directly influence how models learn and reason about land control documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate land control instruments such as deeds, ground leases, rights of way and easement agreements for term, exclusivity and conveyance provisions.
• Identify deficiencies, gaps and execution issues within site control documentation packages.
• Organise findings into clear, standardized formats suitable for senior legal review.
• Support due‑diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real‑estate documents.
• Flag non‑compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate or infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience reviewing deeds, ground leases, easements and rights of way.
• Strong ability to assess term, exclusivity and conveyance language in legal documents.
• High attention to detail and ability to organise findings in structured, standardized formats.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, document‑heavy environment.
